About The Position

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with procurement and order placement.
• Manage MSC ControlPoint Solutions, including Vendor Managed Inventory, Vending, or Storeroom management programs.
• Determine optimal sourcing strategies for key customer projects in collaboration with the Category Team.
• Participate in customer plant and production meetings, strategic initiatives, and Lean/Six Sigma events.
• Collaborate with the account team to maximize customer satisfaction and future projects.
• Resolve on-site customer product and service issues by providing sales-related solutions.
• Provide customer service in accordance with MSC standards to ensure satisfaction and account retention.
• Communicate customer concerns to management for effective problem resolution.
• Work closely with vendors to locate product sources, produce quotes, expedite orders, and arrange product training.
• Foster the MSC Culture to ensure fulfillment of the company's vision and unity of purpose.
• Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.
