The In-Place Monitoring Systems Technician is responsible for ensuring that the client's IPMS console is adequately staffed and that all signals and anomalies are resolved within the established threat threshold and timeframes set by the TSCM program manager. The technician will provide monthly and quarterly reports on console health status, especially when operational capability is diminished. They will deliver required IPMS and Signal of Interest reports with minimal errors and confirm that all processes, activities, and reports are conducted within established time frames. Additionally, the technician will ensure that IPMS-related activities support the client TSCM program and TSSC modernization goals, while maintaining familiarity with all governing national and agency-level policies to ensure compliance with reporting and training requirements as well as other regulatory guidelines.

  • Ensure the client's IPMS console is staffed.
  • Resolve all signals and anomalies within established threat thresholds.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly reports on console health status.
  • Deliver required IPMS and Signal of Interest reports with minimal errors.
  • Confirm that all processes, activities, and reports are conducted within established time frames.
  • Support the client TSCM program and TSSC modernization goals.
  • Maintain familiarity with governing national and agency-level policies.
  • Experience writing and editing technical documents.
  • Experience with RF theory and direction finding.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
  • HS diploma or GED.
  • Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance II (IAT II) certification within 1 year of start date.
  • Interagency Training Center (ITC) TSCM certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Graduate of a federal or DoD CI training academy.
