Duties & Responsibilities: Document all elements of the physician and patient encounter into the EHR – Electronic Health Record Understand basic ICD-10 documentation and current billing requirements. Retain adequate knowledge of medical terminology. Comply with PHI laws (HIPAA/HITECH) in addition to local facility department policies and procedures. Perform non-clinical tasks specific to each facility as directed by Physician and Chief Scribe. QualificationsEducation Requirements: High School Diploma / GED Qualifications: Proficient typing, concise communication Working Environment: work is performed in hospitals, emergency departments.
