About The Position

The position is responsible for the refurbishment, maintenance, and occasional field service of diagnostic imaging equipment, including CT, PET/CT, PET, SPECT, and SPECT/CT systems. This role applies knowledge of mechanical, electronic, optical, and computer systems to disassemble, inspect, repair, test, reassemble, and validate imaging systems and components. The position supports warehouse operations, ensures compliance with quality and regulatory standards, and contributes to on-time delivery of fully functional equipment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 2+ years of experience servicing diagnostic imaging equipment
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electronic, optical, and computer-based systems.

  • Associate degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Engineering, or military equivalency

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive in-house refurbishment of diagnostic imaging systems and components.
  • Disassemble, inspect, identify, and evaluate parts for reuse, repair, or replacement.
  • Diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs, testing, reassembly, and functional validation.
  • Identify parts in good condition versus failing components requiring service.
  • Support equipment part-out activities as needed.
  • Occasionally perform on-site system installations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and validation using independent judgment.
  • Accurately document all repairs, testing, and refurbishment activities in the company CRM system.
  • Close project tickets in a timely manner in accordance with QA, ISO, and FDA requirements.
  • Adhere to Quality Management Procedures (QMI), Work Instructions (WI), and Quality Management System (QMS) standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory guidelines and company policies.
  • Support accurate documentation required for internal tracking and billing purposes.
  • Assist with receiving, staging, and organizing incoming systems and components.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safe working conditions in the warehouse.
  • Manage, prioritize, and schedule assigned work to meet internal and external customer demands.
  • Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) outlined in the performance plan.
  • Complete and maintain required training and certifications for serviced systems.
  • Participate in continuous training to remain current on company products, services, and OEM requirements.
  • Continuous learning through completion of compliance trainings including OSHA, HIPAA, radiation safety, ISO, and other OEM related trainings.
  • Other duties as assigned.
