About The Position

Our In-Home therapy Clinicians at BAMSI provide services within the community to people of all ages, mainly youth who are experiencing personal difficulties in their lives due to psychiatric and/or emotional symptoms arising from current or past stressors, life crises, problems in school, developmental issues, mental illness, adjustment disorders or substance abuse. The Home Based Team (HBT) engages youth and families by providing needed supports and highly individualized services in order to help strengthen families as they progress toward their goals, reduce child protective concerns, and encourage resiliency, empowerment, and self-sufficiency. In-Home therapy services is a structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic relationship between a Clinician and the youth and family for the purpose of treating the youth's behavioral needs. Clinical services and assessments offer support to youth and families challenged by various emotional and physical stressors. Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a relevant field is required
  • LICSW or LCSW preferred
  • Valid MA drivers license
  • Must have own means of transportation and satisfactory driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with 3rd Party Billing Desired

Responsibilities

  • Diagnostic evaluation, individual psychotherapy, family, and group therapy.
  • Maintain up-to-date clinical records for assigned clients, complete all required documentation in a clear, concise, and timely manner.
  • Provide a minimum of at least fifteen client contact units (billable hours).
  • Attend staff meetings, weekly supervision, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Obtain all necessary prior authorizations from funding agents (i.e. insurance companies/Medicaid) for services rendered to assigned clients as well as to perform services in compliance with the policies established by BAMSI, funding sources, and/or licensing regulatory agents.
  • Participate in the rotation of the 24 hour on-call system and be available for telephone consultation to provide timely and effective crisis support services to youth and families and assist in effective intervention.
  • Maintain all necessary trainings
  • Ability to provide necessary clinical services at the location of the person served preference (in home, in office, or virtually)
