For more information, please visit www.youthvillages.org Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The In-Home Therapist: Carries a caseload of up to 12 youth/families Provides on-call support 24/7 and participates in an on-call rotation (including weekends and holidays) Develops and implements treatment plans weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly based on frequency of modalities Conducts initial in-home assessment (psychosocial), CANS, and clinical research assessment prior to first wraparound meeting Conducts on-going assessments as well as in-home therapy, individual therapy, and family-driven family/marital therapy Collects information about youth/family using interview, case history, visual and auditory observation techniques, and appraisal and assessment methods Observes family's home environment to identify safety and health hazards Attends wraparound meetings with youth and parents/guardians (frequency determined by wraparound team) Attends school meetings, DCPS meetings, and court hearings as needed Acts as an advocate if youth are facing legal charges Supports professional development of staff by attending weekly meetings and completing field visits alongside leadership Completes accurate and timely documentation in an electronic medical record system (EMR) Performs other duties as assigned Additional Information: Schedule is flexible and non-traditional as it is based around the availability of youth and families served. Applicants must possess a current, valid driver’s license, an automobile for work purposes, and proof of auto insurance. Community-based staff will be reimbursed for applicable mileage.
