About The Position
S&G Carpet and More is seeking an In-Home Sales Consultant who is looking for a great opportunity to grow with a reputable corporation! In-Home Sales Consultant in the Greater Sacramento region. Position Description: As an In-Home Sales Consultant, you will scheduled with daily appointments to meet S&G customers in their homes and perform measures of prospective floor covering projects. You will show floor covering samples and present customers with a bid at each measure, and you will be available to answer customer questions as you try and close the sale in the home. Cold calling is NOT required for this position! Our retail team will generate leads and schedule your appointments for you! Candidates with experience in the Service Industry are encouraged to apply! S&G will hone your measuring and sales skills, and S&G will give you the product knowledge you’ll need to be successful. We are looking for dynamic, personable individuals with a strong work ethic!
Requirements
- Applicants MUST have a valid driver's license and clean driving record!
- Must be able to work Saturdays.
- Must have strong drive and ability to excel in a fast-paced, competitive sales environment.
- Strong presentation and customer service skills required.
- Strong negotiation skills required.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Responsibilities
- Represent Company while measuring for floor covering installation and selling to customers in the home.
- Arrive to scheduled appointments on-time and ready to assist.
- Ensure monthly sales quota is met.
- Provide a high level of customer service by answering customer questions and presenting written bid on-site.
- Assist retail staff on orders that do not close in home.

- Between hourly and bonus, In-Home Sales Consultants can earn $64,000 to $91,000!
