About The Position

S&G Carpet and More is seeking a Sales Professional who is looking for a great opportunity to grow with a reputable corporation! In-Home Flooring Sales Associate in the South Bay- Santa Clara County etc. Candidates must live in Territory Priority given to South Bay residents Position Description: As an In-Home Sales Consultant, you will be provided with daily leads from customers who have specifically reached out to us for new floor covering. You will meet with customers in their homes, assess the scope of their project, assist in the selection of products, provide written proposals, and close on-site whenever possible. Cold calling is NOT required for this position! Candidates with experience in the Service Industry are encouraged to apply! S&G will hone your sales skills and give you the product knowledge you’ll need to be successful. We are looking for dynamic, personable individuals with a strong work ethic! Total Annual Compensation Package: Generous starting base salary of $60,000. Earn commission from day one! Between salary commission, new hires can earn $70,000 - $95,000 per year to start. Requirements

Applicants MUST have a valid driver's license and clean driving record!
Must plan and organize your day to be most productive including time for in-home consultations, writing proposals, follow-up on unsold leads, and processing sold orders.
Must have strong drive and ability to excel in a fast-paced, competitive sales environment.
Strong presentation and customer service skills required.
Strong negotiation skills required.
Strong organizational skills. Ability to meet sales quotas and deadlines and use good judgment in performing conflicting demands and managing priorities.
Strong initiative with the ability to seek out relevant information before making timely decisions.
Computer literacy and familiarity with the internet are required.
Ability to work evening and weekend hours during peak periods.
Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Represent Company while for selling floor covering to new customers.
Assist customers with their floor covering projects by analyzing and evaluating their needs, wants, and budget.
Ensure monthly sales quota is met.
Responsible for a minimum number of appointments per week.
Update all sales activity and contact information using specialized software.
Provide a high level of customer service by following through to completion with all customers.
Cover roadshows and answer questions from potential customers.
