Position Overview: As an In-Home Lift Consultant for Stiltz Homelifts, this role will be responsible for conducting in-home consultations with potential customers, assessing their needs, and recommending the most suitable lift solutions and locations to meet their requirements. This role requires excellent communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and a passion for improving the lives of homeowners through innovative home lift solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in in-home sales or a related field, preferably in the home improvement or accessibility industry.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport, establish trust, understand and address customers’ needs effectively.
  • General Construction knowledge and ability to read blueprints.
  • Experience using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Understanding of local and state coding and permitting laws for construction and elevators.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-home consultations with potential customers to assess their accessibility needs and discuss the benefits of Stiltz Homelifts products.
  • Present product demonstrations and educate customers on the features, benefits and installation process of our lift solutions.
  • Provide personalized recommendations for location of product and quotations.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including customer interactions, quotations, and sales orders in the CRM system.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process and beyond.
  • Address customer questions, concerns, and objections in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales support and installation technicians and Stiltz headquarters, to ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Provide accurate measurements of customer approved installation site.
  • Follow up with customers to answer any additional questions, finalize details and schedule installations.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities and market developments to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Follow up with leads and maintain regular communication to nurture potential sales.
  • Close sales and manage the necessary documentation, including contracts and payment processing
