Duties are performed in a variety of environments ranging from highly stressful and potentially aggressive to casual and leisurely, in both indoor and outdoor settings. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is subject to outside weather conditions and maybe required to visit homes with substandard living conditions and domestic pets. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field and 1 year of experience working with children and families OR (in rural Iowa) Associate’s degree and 2 years of experience OR (in rural Iowa) 4 years combined education and experience
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed)
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

Providing in-home support and teaching practical skills to strengthen families.
Connecting families with community resources such as schools, healthcare, and social services.

Developing service plans, monitoring progress, and maintaining accurate documentation.
