About The Position

All employees must be certified or licensed as a CNA, PSS or DSW in the State of Maine. We provide in-home care that makes a difference in the lives of seniors and other adults. Requirements

  • All employees must be certified or licensed as a CNA, PSS or DSW in the State of Maine.
  • Trustworthy, reliable individuals who follow through
  • Respectful, compassionate caregivers committed to client dignity
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak clearly, repeat or rephrase as needed, and communicate effectively with clients who have hearing loss, cognitive decline, or dementia symptoms
  • A valid driver's license and your own reliable transportation, we do not allow "drop off's"
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Access to a working cell phone for scheduling and care notes
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve in the moment
  • Willingness to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality
  • Dependability with attendance and punctuality
  • 21 Years of age
  • Applicants must have a Dependable Cell Phone & Service, ability to pass a Background Check
  • Must own reliable transportation with proof of auto Insurance.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Must have ability to pass a Background Check

Responsibilities

  • Companionship and conversation
  • Meal preparation
  • Medication reminders
  • Light housekeeping
  • Personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming
  • Activities of daily living (ADL's)
  • Mobility and transfer support
  • Safety monitoring and fall prevention
  • Transportation to appointments or errands (when applicable)
