Requirements

Reliable transportation with car insurance
Must be at least 18 years old
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
In-home caregiving experience supporting elderly clients with ADLs
Experience creating a safe, effective environment
Listening, analyzing information, and focusing on quality
Dependability and punctuality
Physical ability to reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and lift up to 50 lbs. while avoiding potential injury from transferring, repositioning, or lifting residents
High School Diploma or GED
Any state-mandated certification
Must have a valid in-state driver’s license, provide current registration and insurance, and have a driving record with no more than 2 points within the last 3 years

Responsibilities

Assisting patients with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and other activities of daily living.
Helping with general light housekeeping.
Making arrangements for or providing transportation as needed.
Observing and reporting on a patient’s condition.
Keeping up with in-service training.
Enters patients records daily in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy and procedures; incidents and observations, reports any changes in patients’ physical condition and/or behavior; observes and documents the health and emotional condition of each patient; promptly reports any changes to the supervisor
