About The Position

The In Home Caregiver at Village Caregiving - Pittsburgh is responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to clients in their homes. They will assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation, while ensuring the safety and well-being of the clients. They may also perform light housekeeping tasks and provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

Requirements

Prior experience in caregiving or a similar role is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
Reliable transportation
A valid driver's license.
Ability to pass criminal background check
Willingness to obtain 2 step TB test upon hire

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Ensure the safety and well-being of clients by following proper infection control protocols and safety measures.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, dusting, and organizing.
Document client progress and report any concerns or changes to the appropriate supervisor.
