About The Position

At EPAGA® Home Care, our caregivers are the heart of everything we do. As an In-Home Caregiver, you’ll provide meaningful, one-on-one support that allows Montana seniors and adults to live safely and comfortably in their own homes. Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
  • Working phone number
  • Must pass background check (criminal, driving record, and professional references) and agree to random drug and alcohol testing
  • Completion of EPAGA Accredited Caregiver training and orientation — if you are already PCA or CNA certified, you may qualify for a training waiver!

  • Comfortable working independently in a home setting
  • Able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing

Responsibilities

  • Provide warm companionship—conversation, reading aloud, and meaningful activities that keep clients engaged and uplifted
  • Support with light housekeeping: laundry, vacuuming, changing linens, and maintaining a clean, safe home environment
  • Prepare and serve meals, following client preferences and dietary needs, with cleanup after
  • Accompany clients on outings, medical appointments, errands, and community activities
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety and dignity at all times
  • Provide medication reminders and promptly observe and report any changes in your client’s condition
  • Complete electronic visit verification and care documentation accurately and on time
  • Build genuine, trusting relationships with clients, their families, and your EPAGA team
