About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Non-Medical In-Home Caregiver to provide essential support to clients in their homes. This position focuses on assisting with daily living activities, companionship, and maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment—without providing medical services.
Requirements
- Ability to pass a background check
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if required to drive)
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or similar role
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as: Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Meal preparation and feeding assistance
- Light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying)
- Provide companionship and engage clients in conversation and activities
- Assist with mobility and transfers (e.g., from bed to chair)
- Run errands and provide transportation to appointments (if applicable)
- Monitor and report changes in client condition to supervisor or family members
- Follow care plans and safety protocols consistently
- Respect clients' privacy, dignity, and independence
