Requirements

Has genuine warmth, patience, and a love for spending time with seniors
Has reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Pass a background check
Pass a drug test
Brings a positive, upbeat, and calming presence to every visit
Must be 18 years old

Nice To Haves

Prior caregiving or companion care experience
Experience with seniors with memory loss, Alzheimer's, or dementia
CPR/First Aid certification

Responsibilities

Providing friendly companionship and meaningful conversation
Accompanying clients to appointments, errands, and social activities
Assisting with light housekeeping, laundry, and home organization
Helping with meal preparation and grocery shopping
Providing medication reminders
Assisting with pet care and plant care as needed
Engaging clients in hobbies, games, reading, and activities they enjoy
Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)- bathing, dressing, transferring and toileting as assigned
