Caregiver/HHA Collins
About The Position
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as In-Home Caregivers. As a caregiver, you will provide essential assistance to individuals in need of support within the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities: - Assisting clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. - Providing companionship and emotional support to clients. - Helping with meal preparation and medication reminders. - Performing light housekeeping tasks (laundry and linen) - Accompanying clients to appointments and outings. - Monitoring and reporting changes in client's health or behavior.. Requirements: - Prior experience working with elderly clients in a caregiving role is preferred. - Familiarity with assisting seniors in activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting. - Understanding of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other memory-related conditions. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - A caring attitude and the patience to work with clients who may have physical or cognitive limitations. - High school diploma or equivalent -Pass a criminal background check and drug screen prior to employment with Senior Helpers.
