About The Position
Griswold Home Care for Westminster, Broomfield & Boulder is a trusted provider of non‑medical in‑home care. We are committed to helping our clients live safely and with dignity in their own homes, and we recognize that high‑quality care starts with supported, respected caregivers. We are seeking confident, experienced, and emotionally resilient caregivers to support a client in Boulder who requires consistent hands‑on care and calm, professional redirection. While this posting is for a specific client , caregivers will have the option to work with additional clients .
Requirements
- Experience with or comfort learning hands‑on personal care , including changing adult undergarments ( required )
- Ability to professionally manage verbal aggression while remaining calm and respectful ( required )
- TB test required
- Already completed preferred
- Willingness to complete is mandatory (testing provided at no cost)
- Flu shot required
- Availability for: Monday–Friday 4:00 PM shifts , and/or Saturday & Sunday 8:00 AM and/or 5:00 PM shifts
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Maintain calm, professional boundaries with an extremely verbally combative client
- Assist with personal care , including changing adult undergarments
- Learn and follow detailed care routines and care plans
- Assist with light housekeeping and basic meal preparation
- Communicate clearly with office staff regarding care needs or concerns
