Requirements

• Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius
• Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening
• Prior caregiving or healthcare experience preferred, but not required
• Hands-on experience using a Hoyer lift and gait belt preferred (training may be provided)
• Willingness to work with both male and female clients
• Strong communication skills and a professional, respectful demeanor
• A compassionate, dependable attitude with a strong sense of responsibility

Responsibilities

• Providing meaningful companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Offering medication reminders to help clients stay on schedule
• Supporting safe mobility, including transfers, walking assistance, and fall prevention
• Assisting with errands and accompanying clients to appointments
• Preparing nutritious meals and helping with light housekeeping
• Observing and reporting changes in physical, emotional, or cognitive condition
• Encouraging independence, engagement, and participation in daily activities
