Part-Time In-Home Caregiver
About The Position
Fresh Perspective Home Care is hiring compassionate individuals to support seniors throughout the Mattawan area. This part-time role involves providing non-medical in-home care, including companionship, assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation for errands and appointments. The company provides training and support for both experienced caregivers and those new to caregiving. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to uphold client confidentiality
- Reliable and punctual
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a caregiver is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
- Preparing meals and helping with light housekeeping
- Driving or accompanying clients to errands, appointments, or community outings
