Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in caregiving preferred.
  • Previous experience in home care, nursing, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for client visits.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and assist clients as needed.
  • Basic understanding of client health issues and medication management.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and training as required.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate client needs, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Assist clients with mobility and ensure their safety at home.
  • Monitor and document client health and well-being, reporting any changes to the care team.
  • Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
  • Administer medication and manage care plans as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Build trusting relationships with clients and their families to foster a supportive care experience.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance caregiving skills.
