About The Position

The In-Home Caregiver position at Glen Park Senior Living involves providing compassionate, non-medical care to individuals, particularly those with developmental disabilities. Requirements

• CPR Certification
• Home Care Aide Certification
• First Aid training
• Valid Driver's License
• 1 year of experience in personal care or related fields
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• CPI/DSP 1,2 certification required
• Must have HCA registration with the State of California
• Legal authorization to work in the US
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Complete a Criminal Background Check
• TB clearance and Health Screening
• Must be able to work some weekends
• Personal Vehicle and Insurance required

Responsibilities

• Assist Clients with daily living activities
• Provide care and supervision to clients
• Report to supervisor for updates
• Collaborate with clients and families for best care opportunities
• Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment
• Assist with dressing, grooming, bathing, and other personal hygiene activities daily
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, laundry, and meal preparation
• Provide medication reminders
• Offer respite care
