In-Home Caregiver (PEDS)

We are currently seeking dedicated In-Home Caregivers to support pediatric clients/disabled clients under a non-skilled waiver program. We are seeking a compassionate and reliable In-Home Pediatric Caregiver to provide high-quality care and support to children in a home setting. This part-time position involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment, and promoting the child’s overall well-being through attentive care and engagement.
Requirements
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Clean and organized
- Responsible and dependable
- Patient and attentive
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with children or caregiver is preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including: Bathing
- Dressing
- Feeding
- Light housekeeping (laundry, tidying play areas, etc.)
- Prepare meals and snacks according to dietary needs
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Supervise the child to ensure safety at all times
- Engage in age-appropriate, developmentally suitable activities
- Transport the child to and from appointments and activities (must have reliable transportation)
- Maintain clear, consistent communication with parents/guardians and care team
- Observe and report any changes in the child’s condition or behavior
