Bilingual Caregivers Needed for Brighton Area. Must be Reliable, Committed, and Skilled In-Home Caregiver / In-Home Support Services (IHSS)
About The Position
We are seeking experienced, reliable, and professional caregivers to provide in-home support and assistance for our clients through the IHSS program. As a skilled caregiver, you will play a key role in promoting independence, safety, and dignity in the comfort of our clients’ homes. This role requires empathy, reliability, and a true commitment to providing consistent, quality care. We’re not looking for “warm bodies” to fill shifts; we’re looking for caregivers who understand the importance of showing up, following through, and making a difference. You take pride in your reliability and understand the impact of consistency. You treat caregiving as a professional responsibility, not a temporary job. Responsibilities
- Providing dependable, compassionate in-home care and companionship
- Supporting clients with personal care needs while maintaining dignity and respect
- Assisting with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Preparing meals and supporting dietary needs
- Performing light housekeeping to maintain a safe, clean environment
- Accompanying clients to appointments or errands as needed
- Following personalized care plans and documenting updates accurately
- Adhering to all state regulations and company policies
- Completing 12 hours of annual continuing education (as required by the State of Colorado)
- Wound Care: Cleaning and dressing wounds to promote healing
- NG Tube Feeding: Administering nutrition through nasogastric tubes
- Catheter Care: Providing comfort and hygiene with proper maintenance
- Suppository Administration: Safely assisting with prescribed bowel care routines
- Bowel Program Support: Helping clients manage bowel care with professionalism and sensitivity
