About The Position

The In Home Caregiver position at Kangaroo Care involves providing personalized support to a young adult woman with developmental disabilities in SE Portland. Requirements

• Valid Driver's License and Insurance Coverage
• Ability to assist with occasional restroom needs
• Patience and understanding for unique communication challenges
• Enjoyment of outdoor adventures
• Vigilant attention due to client's tendency to wander

Responsibilities

• Help plan and assist in preparing some meals, including serving if necessary
• Assist with dressing and grooming
• Assist in daily living activities and needs
• Participate in life enriching activities
• Provide medication reminders
• Complete required documentation
• Maintain client confidentiality
• Record and report changes in client's physical condition, behavior, or appearance
• Other duties may be needed or assigned
