About The Position

Assisting Hands – South Jacksonville is seeking dedicated caregivers to provide 1:1 care in client homes. The role involves assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), transfers, mobility assistance, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, companionship, and transportation. Caregivers will work flexible schedules with predictable routes, ensuring a rewarding experience for both clients and caregivers.

Requirements

• Florida CNA license or HHA certificate
• Current CPR certification (In-Person course)
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Reliable vehicle
• Completion of Florida State Courses (HIV/AIDS, Alzheimers and Dementia, Assist. with Self Admin. of Med.)

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 care to clients in their homes
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Support clients with transfers and mobility assistance
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Offer companionship and transportation services
