About The Position

In Home Aide needed for male PCS Client located in Taylorsville/Alexander County. 18.5 hours per week "Monday & Wednesday 4pm-8pm, Tuesday & Thursday 9am-1pm and and Friday 4pm -6:30pm Entry level job applicants welcome! We are hiring compassionate, hard working, friendly and reliable In-home aides to provide assistance with personal care and home management tasks to clients in their home, hospital, and other appropriate settings. Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• 3 months or more of caregiving experience
• Valid driver's license or reliable transportation
• Valid Car insurance (if providing transportation to a client)

Responsibilities

• Grooming and bathing patients with low mobility
• Preparing each patient room with necessary items like blankets, pillows, medical equipment and bathroom needs
• Helping patients eat and take medications
• Making sure they have regular meals and proper medication dosages
• Monitoring vitals and patient behavior and reporting them to the nursing and medical staff
• Assisting patients with mobility needs, transferring them from wheelchair to bed
• Turning or adjusting patients in bed to prevent bedsores or other discomfort
• Exercising patients by helping them walk
• Assist individuals with personal care needs (bathing, toileting, dressing, etc)
• Assist individuals with daily living skills (eating, cooking, etc)
• Housekeeping (sweeping, mopping, dusting, etc)
