About The Position

Global Technology Associates is looking for an IMS Engineer. As an IMS Engineer, you will provide operations support and maintain applications. Your responsibilities will include monitoring capacity on existing servers, conducting performance tuning, and writing scripts. You will also identify and document technical requirements for the systems deployed in networks based on product and/or system architecture requirements. Additionally, you will complete system detailed design and documentation including call flows, cost estimates for business case analysis, impact studies, traffic engineering/capacity analysis, and operation support documentation. Conducting design reviews of assigned projects with the engineering peer group to ensure requirements are complete and design goals are met is also part of your role. You will provide technical expertise in Tier 2 support for operations personnel in assigned areas of responsibility and manage both technical content and project deliverables. The position requires working in various, unanticipated locations throughout the U.S., with 10% travel within the US required.

Requirements

• US Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Two (2) years of experience as a telecommunications engineer or substantially similar position.
• Experience must include two (2) years in 4G Network Handling IMS nodes (ASBC, CSCF, or BGW) Implementation.
• Experience in Testing or validation.
• Experience in Troubleshooting and Operation technical support.
• Experience with troubleshooting tools such as WireShark, NetScout tracing, or JIRA.
