About The Position

The ISF Data Processor is responsible for the accurate data entry of Importer Security Filing (ISF) data elements, ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs regulations. This role involves managing communication with importers and vendors, tracking filings, and maintaining records in the operating system. The position requires proficiency in Excel and strong organizational skills to handle clerical tasks effectively.

Requirements

• Proficient in data entry and clerical tasks.
• Strong knowledge of Excel for maintaining reports.
• Ability to communicate effectively via email.
• Organizational skills to track multiple ISFs and follow up on missing information.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with U.S. Customs regulations and ISF filings.
• Familiarity with import/export processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive ISF data from importers or vendors.
• Keep electronic copies of all emails/forms in the operating system.
• Track ISFs to ensure they have not already been entered.
• Create new filings in the system and obtain necessary approvals.
• Send emails requesting missing information and monitor responses daily.
• Send reminder emails for missing details if no response is received by noon the next day.
• Keep track of ISFs without an approved filing (S1) at the time of ETD.
• Maintain customer reports in Excel to ensure ISFs are filed for every shipment.
• Obtain ISF bonds for clients without a continuous bond in place.
