About The Position

The Import / Export Manager will lead the Global Animal Health Trade Compliance organization, providing support to Bio-Pharma manufacturing sites. This role includes direct participation in both internal and external trade compliance audits. The manager will oversee the EU COE Boxmeer Global Order Management Team, which includes AHTS order management and distribution activities at the 3PL location in the Netherlands, as well as the global logistics team in the U.S. The position also involves managing global imports for EU BioPharma manufacturing sites and leading the US Export team responsible for order management and logistics for U.S.-sourced exports. Additionally, the manager will oversee all U.S. import activities for the legal entity Intervet Inc. and ensure compliance with regulatory authorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Ten years relevant experience in a cGMP or cGDP operational/distribution environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, cGDP, and regulatory requirements.
• Leadership and teamwork skills with experience managing and motivating teams.
• Proven influencing skills and excellent analytical abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to examine issues from diverse perspectives.
• Ability to make rapid and ethical decisions ensuring zero disruption to supply.
• Lean mindset with a drive to continuously improve the operational space.

Responsibilities

• Leads the Global Animal Health Trade Compliance organization.
• Direct participant in internal and external trade compliance audits.
• Manages global imports for EU BioPharma manufacturing sites.
• Leads US Export team responsible for order management and logistics for U.S.-sourced exports.
• Oversees all U.S. import activities for Intervet Inc.
• Processes global AH triangulation of invoices ensuring compliance with regulatory authorities.
• Holds full control over Animal Health Trade Compliance areas.
• Collaborates with legal, regulatory, and corporate trade compliance to set policies.
• Manages a U.S. export cost center with a budget of $10M.
• Supervises 9 direct reports and a total of 26 FTEs.
