About The Position

The Import/Export Analyst is responsible for ensuring compliance and providing import/export administration and control within government rules and regulations. The role involves providing user support for export systems, participating in the evaluation and continuous improvement of SCM business processes, and monitoring team activities against defined objectives. The analyst will also maintain applicable system tables and provide necessary data for bid activities related to import/export and transportation costs.

Requirements

• Two to four years relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Good knowledge of electronics manufacturing environment, material and processes.
• Strong understanding and interpretation of traffic and customs rules and regulations.
• Knowledge of basic computer applications such as WORD, Excel, PowerPoint, and multiple business applications.
• Ability to identify and resolve complex process/system problems using financial, analytical, and/or statistical models.
• Good understanding of internal and external customer requirements.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance and provide import/export administration and control within government rules and regulations.
• Provide user support for export system including problem resolution, customs queries, and user issues.
• Participate in the evaluation, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of specific SCM business processes.
• Provide ongoing support in resolving process/execution issues with both internal and external customers.
• Respond to requests for support/service and develop processes to meet customer demands.
• Provide necessary data for bid activity on import/export and transportation related costs.
• Monitor activities of the team against defined objectives and report on achievements.
• Maintain applicable system tables in support of related activity.
