About The Position
Whirlpool is seeking qualified candidates for a Import Analyst, Supply & Logistics. This role will be onsite 5 days a week in Benton Harbor, MI. This position is responsible for identifying and executing strategic initiatives and analyses involving North American import operations from overseas suppliers. Import activity will focus on finished goods, manufacturing components and service parts to include end to end ownership from point of origin through delivery to final destination. Duties will also involve heavy root cause analysis of issues and process improvements. This role will require collaboration with third party logistics providers, overseas suppliers, various Whirlpool functions and Trade Partners. This position will also serve as backup to the other members of the group as needed and work collectively with other International Operations team members on identifying and implementing process improvements.
