About The Position

Revenue Management Solutions (RMS) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Implementations Team Lead to join our team. As a leader in healthcare revenue management, RMS is dedicated to maximizing clients' revenue potential by reducing manual errors and enhancing efficiency across the entire revenue cycle. The Implementations Team Lead will be responsible for guiding a team of Implementation Project Managers, ensuring the successful implementation of RMS products and solutions for both new and existing clients. This position plays a critical role in managing the department’s operational efficiency, unlocking revenues, mentoring and developing team members, identifying and implementing process improvements within the department, and collaborating with various stakeholders to drive project success. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of revenue cycle, project management, and proven leadership/training abilities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in a senior or leadership position.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to work in a dynamic professional environment and successfully manage a team and project portfolio simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of the health care revenue cycle claims and payments.
  • Knowledge of ANSI X12/EDI health care transaction sets, including 837s and 835s is strongly desired.
  • Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on revenue cycle or RCM solution implementations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified associate in project management (CAPM) preferred.
  • Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) is a plus.
  • Experience with Agile software, Confluence, and CRM solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Train, guide and support a team of Implementation Project Managers, providing leadership guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Act as a senior point of contact for key clients, addressing high-level concerns, and ensuring client needs are met.
  • Monitor and support project initiatives managed by Implementation Project Managers, ensuring alignment with client requirements, timelines, and budgets.
  • Effectively allocate resources and manage project assignments to optimize team performance and project outcomes.
  • Continuously identify, develop, and implement documented processes and improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the implementation process.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery and resolve any issues arising.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project and team performance reports for senior leadership review.
  • Occasional travel to client sites or industry events may be required.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
