About This Role Covered Insurance is seeking an experienced Implementation Project Manager to lead customer and vendor implementation projects across our customer network. This role is customer-facing, managing the full implementation lifecycle from project kickoff through launch and post-go-live support ensuring seamless integration, exceptional client experience, and successful outcomes. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator and relationship builder, adept at balancing multiple customer engagements, coordinating internal resources, and maintaining accountability across teams and deliverables.

  • Lead customer and vendor implementation projects with end-to-end ownership of timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Serve as the primary customer-facing project contact, facilitating meetings, providing regular updates, and managing communications between customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Develop and manage detailed implementation plans, ensuring successful integration of technical, operational, and business components.
  • Partner closely with internal Product, Technology, Operations, and Partner Success teams to ensure client readiness and alignment.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, status reporting, and post-launch evaluation metrics.
  • Drive continuous process improvements across implementation workflows to improve speed, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the Implementation function in customer-facing discussions, providing thought leadership and best practices for integration and adoption.
  • Ability to perform operational project management for internal organization wide initiatives as needed.
  • Contribute to internal process improvements, knowledge sharing, and tool standardization.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or Associate Degree with CAPM certification.
  • 3+ years of experience managing customer-facing implementation or project management work in SaaS, Insurtech, Fintech, or technology-enabled services.
  • Strong client management and presentation skills, with proven experience leading cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities with a customer-first mindset.
  • Proficient in project management tools
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with varying complexity.
  • Experience working directly with external vendors and enterprise clients.
  • Strong problem-solving, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Self-starter with a passion for improving systems, communication, and implementation success.
  • PMP certification
  • Click-Up experience
  • Digital Insurance Implementation experience
  • Demonstrated success leading partner or customer onboarding implementations.
