The Program Manager will oversee implementation and evaluation across outreach projects, with emphasis on developing core metrics across projects. The Program Manager is independently responsible for all daily facets, including budgetary, supervisory, and policy components associated with implementation and evaluation. The Program Manager will collaborate in dissemination of results. This position will be based at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Duties will span across outreach projects, with a focus on rural outreach. We’re seeking candidates with Master’s degree or higher educational background. This is a grant-funded position through October 2021, with a possibility for future funding.

  • Oversee implementation and evaluation across outreach projects, with emphasis on developing, implementation, and continuously improving core metrics across projects.
  • Support the implementation/evaluation of telemonitoring and distance education activities.
  • Complete readiness assessments and practice facilitation.
  • Manage data collection, data management, and evaluation associated with outreach projects.
  • Write and submit reports to funding agencies in a timely matter, and coordinate data collection and entry into online system.
  • Independently promote the project through formal and informal presentation for community events and national/international conferences.
  • Conduct instate travel sometimes requiring overnight stays.
  • Master’s degree or more advanced degree in health sciences, behavioral health, public health, education, communication, or related field.
  • Previous experience with program management, implementation, and evaluation is essential.
  • Previous experience collaborating with communities and with program evaluation is required.
  • Grant writing and research interest experience.
  • Experience with outreach is a plus, as well as supervisory experience with students and employees.
  • Experience with project-related technologies including telehealth/telemedicine, mHealth approaches and social media.
  • Experience in the primary care and school environments is desirable.
  • Experience with distance education, facilitation, and/or virtual learning.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Communication, writing, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Coverage begins on day one for health, dental, and vision insurance.
