About The Position
As an Implementation Consultant for ERP Pro Tax at Tyler Technologies, you will provide professional services that include consultation, software readiness, and education to clients on Tyler software products. Your role will involve designing and conducting knowledge transfer sessions, which can take place either on-site or through webinars. You will educate users on the software's functionality, covering aspects such as data entry, system administration, user security, and user permissions. In addition to training, you will perform consultations and analyses of client business models to identify and document their requirements regarding Tyler products and functionality. This may involve recommending new approaches to client work processes to ensure that the software solutions are efficient and tailored to their needs. You will also be responsible for identifying and documenting business and technical requirement specifications for software design, development, forms, reports, interfaces, and other relevant changes. Your role will require you to consult with users to determine the appropriate data mapping process for product conversions and provide instruction on proofing and analyzing data conversions from existing software to Tyler applications. You may create custom reports or modify existing ones to meet client requirements. Additionally, you will play an active role in troubleshooting client issues, collaborating with the Support or Development departments as necessary to resolve these issues. Keeping up with administrative tasks such as documenting client issues, communicating agendas, and submitting reports will also be part of your responsibilities. You may assist QA staff with product testing and notify management of any issues that could impact the implementation's effectiveness, schedule, or budget. Furthermore, you will create both client-facing and internal documentation, acting as a liaison between clients and the company's technical staff, ensuring that technical information is conveyed in an understandable manner. Participation in the annual User Conference and facilitating user group discussions on assigned modules or topics may also be required.
