As an Implementation Consultant for ERP Pro Tax at Tyler Technologies, you will play a crucial role in providing professional services to clients utilizing Tyler software products. Your primary responsibilities will include consultation, software readiness, and education, ensuring that clients are well-equipped to use the software effectively. You will design and conduct knowledge transfer sessions, which may take place on-site or through webinars, to educate users on software functionality, data entry, system administration, user security, and permissions. In this role, you will perform a thorough consultation and analysis of client business models to identify and document their specific requirements regarding Tyler products and functionalities. You may recommend new approaches to client work processes to ensure that the software solutions provided meet their needs efficiently. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and documenting business and technical requirement specifications for software design, development, forms, reports, interfaces, and other relevant changes. Your responsibilities will also include consulting with users to determine the appropriate data mapping process for product conversions, providing instruction on proofing and analyzing data conversions from existing software to Tyler applications, and creating or customizing reports to meet client requirements. You will actively troubleshoot client issues and collaborate with the Support or Development departments to resolve them. Keeping up with administrative tasks such as documenting client issues, communicating agendas, and submitting reports will be essential. You may also assist QA staff with product testing and notify management of any issues that could impact the implementation's effectiveness, schedule, or budget. Furthermore, you will create both client-facing and internal documentation, acting as a liaison between clients and the company's technical staff, ensuring that technical information is conveyed in an understandable manner. Participation in the annual User Conference and facilitating user group discussions on assigned modules or topics may also be part of your role.
