About The Position

The Internal Medicine Physician position in Imperial Valley, California, is a full-time role focused on outpatient care. Requirements

• Board certified or truly board eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Must have a California medical license, current DEA, and CPR certificates.

Responsibilities

• Manage chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia, and obesity.
• Address acute conditions including chest pain, dizziness, and stroke symptoms.
• Implement community-based, patient-centered medical home (PCMH) processes with appropriate care coordination.
• Serve as a preceptor for medical students and Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant students as requested.
• Rotate between all health clinics as needed or indicated by the CEO and/or Medical Director.
