Position Summary Turndown iron, bronze and aluminum impellers to correct size using a CNC lathe.
Requirements
- Lift up to 20 lbs repetitively
- Ability to use basic inspection equipment (dial calipers)
- Knowledge of basic machinist skills, willing to train
- Stand up to 8 hours per day
- Minimum education/experience: High school diploma or GED
Responsibilities
- Turndown impellers to proper diameter
- Measure diameter with dial calipers. Mark impeller with part number and diameter
- Move turndown impellers to balancing machine
- Clean lathe and perform routine maintenance as required
