As an intern on Newsela’s Research team, you will partner with our Principal Research Scientist to investigate and document our impact on student learning. This role is a great opportunity for a current graduate student or early-career researcher to apply and develop their technical and science communication skills in an industry setting while answering questions that have real-world implications for students across the United States. You will be a creative problem-solver who brings both statistical rigor and an investigative mindset to messy, real-world data. You won't just run analyses; you'll use your technical grit and storytelling skills to develop compelling reports that uncover how and why Newsela helps kids learn. About Newsela: Newsela takes authentic, real world content from trusted sources and makes it instruction ready for K-12 classrooms. Each text is published at five reading levels, so content is accessible to every learner. With over 15,000 texts on our platform and multiple new texts published every day across 20+ genres, Newsela enables educators to go deep on any subject they choose.
