About The Position

The Impact Coordinator plays a crucial role in the strategic execution and enhancement of Woodcraft Rangers' program evaluation activities. This individual is pivotal in ensuring the consistent and effective implementation of evaluation tools and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to anticipate and address the needs of various educational environments in their ability to accurately collect data in a timely manner. Working closely as part of the Impact Team, the Impact Coordinator leads the execution of site-based data collection, agency data entry, and communication with school-based teams to coordinate on-site logistics and completion of required projects. The Impact Coordinator will support the Impact Manager and Associate Director of Impact, with project completion and management, and data analysis to ensure the agency stays informed on current trends and impact. This role requires travel to different sites throughout Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties, as well as significant amounts of data entry, which can be done remotely or at our offices in Little Tokyo or West Covina.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to work effectively with young children and/or youth.
  • Good oral and written communication; able to digest written information quickly.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
  • Adaptability and flexibility
  • Strong motivation and eagerness to learn

Nice To Haves

  • AA Degree in Data Analytics or a related field preferred.
  • Prior experience working with groups of K–12 students in an academic or recreational setting.
  • Bilingual or multilingual language skills are helpful; fluency in Spanish is a plus
  • Keen observation and analytical skills with heightened attention to detail
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Robust multitasking and project management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Responsibilities

  • Support field staff with the successful implementation of data collection, including site visits and troubleshooting collection issues as they arise, involving travel across a wide area of Los Angeles and Riverside counties.
  • Lead data entry of agency survey results — including but not limited to social-emotional learning responses, parent, student, and administrator feedback surveys — on a regular basis to support the team's ability to pull accurate reports.
  • Review collected data to identify trends and flag any anomalies, questions, or concerns to management.
  • Ensure data completion and accuracy on an ongoing basis.
  • Creation of agency surveys and tools
  • Maintain survey systems including but not limited to Hello Insight, SurveyMonkey, and others as assigned.
  • Act as a member of the Impact Team at sites, upholding team and agency values and culture when present on school sites and working with stakeholders.
  • Other functions as needed.
