  • Lead and manage the Contracting department within the USA operation.
  • Foster strong working relationships with the sales teams, providing support on licensing and contracting inquiries.
  • Oversee the processing of contracting requests to ensure compliance with carriers, state and company guidelines.
  • Ensure thorough review of licensing documentation to maintain adherence to regulatory and internal standards.
  • Maintain and regularly update departmental process manuals and training materials.
  • Execute additional tasks related to the Contracting department as requested by company leadership.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and technological enhancements.
  • Monitor and address performance and operational gaps within the department.
  • Provide regular updates to management on departmental progress, ensuring visibility into team activities and priorities.
  • Lead, motivate, and support the US Contracting team to ensure high performance and engagement.
  • Coach team members by offering guidance, tools, and resources to help them succeed in their roles.
  • Monitor team performance and development, conducting regular reviews (including annual evaluations) and implementing performance improvement plans when necessary.
  • Assist in interviewing and onboarding new team members for the Contracting department.
  • Lead training programs for new hires within the department.
  • Conduct weekly team meetings to review priorities, provide updates, and address any departmental issues.
  • 3–5 years of experience working in a Contracting Department within the Insurance and/or an IMO space is required.
  • 3–5 years in a management or leadership role, with demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team is required.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to convey complex or sensitive information clearly, tactfully, and professionally.
  • Strong decision-making and critical thinking skills, with a data-informed approach and the ability to prioritize effectively, solve problems under pressure, and remain focused on solutions.
  • Hands-on, proactive leadership style, with a commitment to accountability, integrity, and fostering a collaborative team culture.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management abilities, capable of handling multiple priorities, tight deadlines, and evolving business needs with adaptability and resilience.
  • Confident and approachable, with the humility to accept feedback, the emotional intelligence to coach and mentor, and the confidence to lead through change.
  • Tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems, with strong computer proficiency and attention to detail to ensure efficiency and accuracy in contracting operations.
  • Must reside and be authorized to work in the USA.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is a significant asset; willingness to learn this language is also valued.
