About The Position

The primary responsibility of the Research Scientist is to plan, organize, coordinate, direct, and actively participate in scientific research projects. The role involves assigning and reviewing the work of subordinates, setting specific goals or objectives to be achieved, evaluating research data, and revising techniques or approaches to address work-related challenges. The Research Scientist operates independently in the design and initiation of research experiments and is responsible for designing, developing, or adapting new experimental methods and equipment to obtain desired results. The role also includes compiling, writing, and submitting research reports to superiors, as well as planning and supervising the training of technicians and other laboratory personnel in proper laboratory techniques, equipment usage, and safety procedures. Additionally, the Research Scientist will present research findings to professional groups, prepare scientific data for publication, and assist with grant applications.
