About The Position

Join our lifesaving team in Gainesville, FL as Laboratory Supervisor today! You will work in a full-service, accredited Immunohematology Reference Laboratory, overseeing laboratory operations and team performance to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards. This position involves supervising personnel functions, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations, as well as resolving complex immunohematology and compatibility issues to ensure the safest blood for patients.

Requirements

• National certification as MT/CLS/MLS with ASCP, AAB or AMT, including immunohematology
• Supervisor license issued by the state of Florida; or eligible to apply for one
• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory, Chemical, or Biological Science
• Familiarity with blood banking

Nice To Haves

• SBB(ASCP) or BB(ASCP) certification
