About The Position

Essential Functions of the Job Work independently and with minimal supervision to process visa petitions in compliance with the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) Use independent judgment to ensure that filings and HCPs will be in compliance with all applicable immigration laws and regulations. Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of all immigration-related applications and petitions (e.g., H-1B, L-1, PERM, I-140, I-485). Coordinate with employees and external legal counsel to gather necessary documentation and information for filings Interpret and apply immigration law and provide expert and highly skilled guidance to employees on immigration-related issues and strategies. Develop and implement immigration policies and procedures to support the company's strategic objectives. Act as the primary point of contact for employees and management regarding immigration matters. Consult with government agencies and external legal counsel as necessary. Remain current with changes in immigration laws and policies through continuous education and update the company’s procedures accordingly. Use discretion and independent judgment to review and evaluate information included on all petitions for the applicable statuses for adjudication before submission Use independent judgment to resolve issues and concerns such as documentation needs, immigration status requests, and procedural issues Communicate with other departments and HCPs regarding candidate processing, timelines, and any other relevant updates, as needed Marginal Functions of the Job Other duties as assigned Normal Work Schedule This is a full-time position. Standard business hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Additional time outside of these hours may be needed to complete the essential functions of the job. Education, Training, and Experience Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal qualification preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of 3 years of related experience in immigration processing High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential documentations and the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) and collaborate with all levels of management Basic MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) Job Level Competencies Technical Skills: Intermediate ability to perform technical skills required for job role. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree required
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience in immigration processing
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential documentations and the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) and collaborate with all levels of management
  • Basic MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) certification and ability to obtain and maintain
  • Proprietary Information and Non-Conflict Agreement required.
