YOUR ROLE: IMMIGRATION PARALEGAL As an Immigration Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys and assisting clients through the complex immigration process.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a business immigration law firm (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of business immigration processes and legal procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal case management software.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks and competing deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including excellent grammar and attention to detail.
  • Ability to interact professionally and effectively with clients, attorneys, and government agencies.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain high ethical standards.

Responsibilities

  • Case & Document Preparation: Assisting attorneys with preparing legal forms, drafting letters, invoices, and reports, and compiling filing packages for review.
  • Client Communication & Support: Acting as a liaison between attorneys and clients, providing updates, gathering documentation, conducting initial intake, and scheduling meetings.
  • Case Management & File Organization: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case files, tracking case progress, and updating the firm’s case management system.
  • Calendar & Mail Oversight: Managing attorney calendars, incoming and outgoing mail, and ensuring case deadlines and appointments are met.
  • Correspondence & Administrative Support: Preparing and sending client correspondence, legal documents, and case updates while maintaining strict confidentiality.
