About The Position

A high-volume, fast-paced immigration law firm is seeking a knowledgeable Immigration Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of experience in immigration law to join its Rockville, MD office. This position is available on a full-time or contract basis, depending on the candidate's availability and background. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about helping individuals and families navigate the U.S. immigration process.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Bar license in Virginia or Maryland (active and in good standing).
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in immigration law.
• Technologically proficient; experience with immigration law platforms and case management systems.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual skills (especially Spanish) a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file a variety of immigration petitions and applications, including family-based and employment-based petitions, Adjustment of Status, Naturalization/Citizenship, NACARA, TPS, Asylum, and Waivers, Immigrant and non-immigrant visas, PERM, EB-5, H-1B.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration laws and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather documentation and provide updates.
• Prepare for and represent clients in interviews or appointments before USCIS, ICE, CBP, and Immigration Courts (non-litigation appearances only).
