About The Position
Preferred Care at Home of East Tennessee is seeking an Immediate Caregiver to provide compassionate, reliable care for clients in Loudon, TN. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to improve their quality of life while ensuring their safety and comfort. Client is mobile with some memory issues. Prefer a mature individual who can better relate with Client. Must be very dependable.
Requirements
- Previous caregiving experience preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain client confidentiality.
- Reliable transportation to travel to clients in the Loudon, TN
- Available to work day time hours.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide medication reminders and support as needed.
- Assist with meal preparation
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition.
