About The Position

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Multispecialty Care team. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge to coordinate and perform hands on acute patient care at the bedside. The position is in the Intermediate Medical Care department, with a schedule of nights, 36 hours per week from 7pm to 7am at St John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• 2 years of experience as a staff nurse (RN) in an acute setting is required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s of science in nursing is preferred.
• 2 years of experience in a charge nurse, lead nurse, or related position is preferred.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required where necessary.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform hands-on acute patient care at the bedside.
• Work collaboratively with the Multispecialty Care team to provide patient-focused care.
