In this role, the Imaging Technologist is responsible for the preparation and execution of MR procedures. You’ll have an exciting opportunity to warmly greet & welcome patients/visitors/staff & assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams when necessary. Additional duties include to assess patient condition, produce good quality radiographic images, & ensure adherence to safety standards. This is a part time position, located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist, covering MR services: Sunday 4:00pm - 12:00am, Wednesday 4:00pm - 12:00am, Thursday 4:00pm - 12:00am.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited program in the school of Radiologic Technology.
• Must obtain at least 24 continuing education credits every 2 years as per ARRT requirements.
• N.Y. State Department of Health X-ray License.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification.
• At least 1 year of experience in area of service.

Nice To Haves

• N.Y. State Department of Health IV Certification.
• ARRT Advanced Modality certification - MR.

Responsibilities
